International talents begin their journey at the EUREF-Talent-Campus

Welcome events in Berlin and Düsseldorf mark the start of a new academic year.

The EUREF-Talent-Campus brings together international students, universities, and companies to jointly develop solutions for the energy, climate, and mobility transition. As a funding partner, the Wilo-Foundation has supported the establishment and ongoing development of the EUREF-Talent-Campus in Düsseldorf from the very beginning.

Welcome events in Berlin and Düsseldorf

The traditional welcome events in Berlin and Düsseldorf recently welcomed the new student cohorts. At EUREF-Campus Berlin, around 50 students from 24 countries began their studies on October 8 in the master’s programmes "Energy Management, Building Sustainability" and "Sustainable Mobility Management". Together with other partners, the Wilo-Foundation, represented by David Höltgen, Member of the Executive Board, presented its commitment across its three areas of impact: Creating, Caring, and Connecting.

The new students were also welcomed at EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf on October 13. On behalf of the Wilo-Foundation, David Höltgen attended the event together with Cebastien Foumouo-Tsakou, Head of Energy Management & Digital Building Solutions at the Wilo Group, to present both the Foundation’s funding activities and the company Wilo. Through networking sessions and personal conversations, students had the opportunity to establish their first contacts and gain insights into the close connection between academia and industry fostered on campus.

Supporting Future Skills together

The EUREF-Talent-Campus combines international master’s programmes with a strong network of universities, companies, and industry partners. The Wilo-Foundation supports this environment to help young talents from around the world develop future-oriented skills and to promote exchange between academia, business, and society.
