Master thesis scholarships in water engineering
Since 2018, the Wilo-Foundation has been supporting the Master degree course “Water Engineering” at TU Berlin Campus El Gouna in Egypt, a satellite campus of Technische Universität Berlin, on an annual basis. The programme is especially designed for international students who have already gathered some work experience.
On the TU Campus in El Gouna in Egypt, which was established by TU Berlin, students of the “Water Engineering” programme learn to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for tackling the various challenges in the water sector, especially in arid and semi-arid climate zones.
The Wilo-Foundation supports the “water scholarship holders” during their Master theses. All Master theses provide input and generate knowledge on water management in Egypt. With the financial support of the Wilo-Foundation, five scholarship holders from the Water Engineering Department of Campus El Gouna have the opportunity to write their Master thesis at TU Berlin in Germany, enabling them to engage in exchange with others, both in the academic field and intercultural settings, and get to know the German capital.
